Have you ever caught yourself in one of those late-night mental marathons—replaying conversations, mapping out tomorrow, imagining every possible outcome? It can feel almost helpful, like you’re staying on top of things, preparing for what’s ahead.
But sometimes, that loop doesn’t lead anywhere new. It just circles, pulling energy without much resolution. There’s something interesting in noticing the difference: true planning often wraps up with a next step, while worry tends to keep spinning the same “what ifs.”
I often wonder with clients—what shifts when we simply label it? “This feels like worry showing up again.” It doesn’t fix everything, but it can create a little breathing room, a chance to see the pattern more clearly.
These moments look different for everyone. Just pausing to notice can feel like the start of something calmer.
